Thanks to the generosity of communities, businesses, organizations, & individuals, fund raising efforts for the CT SCANNER have topped $1.3 Million! Now the Campaign needs another $275,000 to place the order for the CT SCAN UNIT for Sioux Lookout’s new hospital to service 30 area communities…Please support the CT Campaign!
Feb. 2010 - WGI held a Radio-a-thon on the Wawatay Radio Network During the event $15,000 was raised towards reaching the CT scanner goal. Thank you contributors!
TAKING FLIGHT PROJECT: Wasaya Group Inc & SLAAMB have partnered to provide a 15 month program to help aboriginal people access the aviation related trades from pilots to management. The program is designed to provide one to one mentoring and give the participants valuable work experience. 40 participants will benefit with employment opportunities generated from the Taking Flight Project.

30 youth from northern First Nation communities (ages 13 -15) attended the 3rd Annual Aviation Camp held in Thunder Bay in partnership with Shibogama First Nations Council, Kenny Family Foundation, Confederation College & Negahneewin College.
Wasaya Group Inc. held it's AGM in Wunnumin Lake this year!
