Wasaya Group Inc & Wasaya Community Economic Development Corporation are pleased to announce the newest initiative of the Wasaya Group - "Wasaya Wilderness Adventures" (WWA).
WWA is a result of Communities and Camp owners requesting if Wasaya could somehow fill the gap left when the former Aboriginal Tourism Association "NONTA" ceased operations in 2009. (Wawatay Article link here.)
Almost 2 years in the making, WWA's mandate is to provide a support structure for the aboriginal Tourism Industry in Northern Ontario, beginning in NWO. Over the next three years our goal is to have about 75 Tourism Operators supported with one stop services that will help attract Tourists to our region and support the local Tourism economy.
