MARCH 2011: TAKING FLIGHT PROJECT GRADUATION: Wasaya Group Inc & SLAAMB partnered to provide a 15 month program to help aboriginal people access the aviation related trades from pilots to management. The 18 month program recently completed March 2011 with 75% graduation rate! The program was designed to provide one to one mentoring and give the participants valuable work experience. About 35 participants have benefited from employment opportunities generated from the Taking Flight Project.
