Our Region’s Tourism Assets Are Illustrated in Our New Logo
We used the respected Wasaya name and brand because it identifies the new Tourist Association as an important member of the Wasaya Group Inc. The 8 sunrays represent the original 8 Wasaya owner communities and the 10 Canada Geese represent the current 10 owner communities. The logo illustrates a vibrant Northern Ontario outdoor scene depicting our region’s lakes and forests. 4 primary “earth” colours were used - Red for Fire, Yellow for Sun, Blue for Water, Green for Forests. The term “Wilderness” describes Northern Ontario, Canada and Adventures represent our 5 key tourism experiences - Fishing, Hunting, Eco-Tourism, Culture and Arts & Crafts.
Let our staff show you how easy and cost effective it is to fly into a remote fishing and hunting destinations rather than driving 15-20 hours to them. Tourism Staff will work with our Wasaya Airways division to structure a seamless flight itinerary at a cost that meets your budget.
